Are you a writer from the Philippines and looking to join the freelance writing industry?

Then you might want to consider Yonipp.

If you’re wondering if this is a good place to work with as a client or a freelancer, then I hope this review can help you make that choice.

A couple of months ago, I managed to stumble onto this website while looking for online jobs. Since writing was something I’ve been doing for a long time but never had the courage to do it through freelancing, I decided to give it a look-see.

I immediately liked the front page. The layout looked clean and simple. The design felt minimalist while at the same time, giving it’s audience an idea of what it’s about. Yonipp’s pitch is to bring convenience for clients and writers alike.

It sounded good and felt like a good place for someone like me to sign up. So I decided to sign up as a writer (its free!) and set up my profile. The website is easy to navigate. The process is fairly simple. Writers place a bid on a project that resonates with their niches in the Projects Marketplace and wait if the client accepts their bid or not.

I’ve been a member since late October of this year and my experience with Yonipp has been positive. I love how responsive the people are in the website. They’re very friendly and open. Any questions I had, they were able to message me within 24 hours and I appreciate this kind of interaction.

The Projects Marketplace is where all of the job posts are listed, including the details such as word count, the client’s budget price, estimated turnaround time as well as information about the job.

You can haggle your asking price through the form of placing a deal. But keep in mind, you need to prove your experience and skill level to justify your price. After all, clients are also on a budget and want to be certain they’re paying a good price for well-written content.

If a client accepts your deal, then you will immediately be informed through the notification bell. You also need to accept the pledge to officially be hired for the job. Both parties can communicate with each other through the Huddle Box. It’s a very convenient tool to ask clarifying questions and ironing out the details.

There are several convenient ways to transfer your earnings to your banking account. You can choose to transfer them to BPI, BDO, G-Cash, Other local banks account, Paymaya, and Paypal.

There is also a Help Center at the end of the page and a chatbox feature at the bottom of your screen, should you need help.

Overall, I am enthusiastic with Yonipp. It gives me the chance to sharpen my writing skills as well as improve my performance as a freelancer. I am thankful for discovering this website and I encourage Filipino writers who have a passion for writing and is knowledgeable about certain areas to give Yonipp a try.
